Anthers in Solanaceae family are two-chambered and contain four pollen sacs.
Each microsporangium has only 10 microscope mother cells. Therefore, 4 microsporangia will contain 40 microscope mother cells.
Now, each microspore mother cell yields 4 pollen grains in a single meiosis.
Therefore, 40 microscope mother cells will produce 40 × 4 = 160 pollen grains.
