We know,

F equals fraction numerator G M 1 M 2 over denominator r squared end fraction

Substituting values of mass of earth in M1 and mass of the moon in M2 and r as 3.84 ×105 m, we get,

F= 2.01 × 1020 N ...( Since G = 6.7 × 10-11 Nm2/kg2 )
