Initial Velocity u=0
Fianl velocity v=?
Height, s=19.6m
g = 9.8 ms−2
By third equation of motion
v2−u2= 2gs
Where,
u = initial velocity of the stone
v = final velocity of the stone
s = height of the stone
g = acceleration due to gravity
Where,
u = initial velocity of the stone
v = final velocity of the stone
s = height of the stone
g = acceleration due to gravity
v2=0+2×9.8×19.6
v2=384.16
v=19.6m/s
