The question which you have posted should be like below.
The area of rectangular garden of length 40 m, is1000 sqm . Find the breadth of the garden and it's perimeter . The garden enclosed by 3 rounds of fencing, leaving an entrance of 4 m. Find the cost of fencing the garden at a rate of 250 rupees per meters.
The area of rectangular garden of length 40 m is 1000 m2.
Area of rectangle = length × breadth
1000 = 40 × breadth
breadth = 25 m
perimeter of rectangular garden = 2(length + breadth) = 2(25 + 40) = 130 m
The garden has to be enclosed with 3 rounds
Hence, the length of wire is 3 × perimeter
length of wire=3 × 130 m
length of wire=390 m
cost of fencing 1 m = Rs. 250
cost of fencing 390 m = 390 × 250 m
cost of fencing = Rs. 97500
Hence, the length of wire is 3 × perimeter
length of wire=3 × 130 m
length of wire=390 m
cost of fencing 1 m = Rs. 250
cost of fencing 390 m = 390 × 250 m
cost of fencing = Rs. 97500
