Answer: Given :the angle of elevation of the top of a tower from a point on the ground,which 30m away from the foot of the tower,is 30degree.
To find : the hieght of the tower.
 
Let x be hieght of tower and y =  30 m given
=> x/y=tan30 degree
=> x = 31/2 * 30 {tan 30 =31/2}
=> x = 51.96 m (approx) is the required Answer
