Suppose in a circle of centre O, the radius are joined with the end points of a chord, A and B. Now we have to find the minor segment subtended by the chord. So, we have
Area of sector - Area of triangle = Area of segment
Now, how to find the area of triangle if it's not an equilateral triangle? Take thita anything besides 60 degree and length of chord and radii from your choice.
Thank you!
