Groundwater do not evaporate in the areas where there is efficient amount of water and good rainfall as the land has good moisture content and is also covered with vegetation but in the areas where there is scarcity of rainfall and the amount of available water is not sufficient, like in Rajasthan, the ground water evaporates due to barren land and scorching sun rays. So, rate of evaporation of ground water varies from place to place according to different geographical conditions.
