Follow the following steps to solve the question:
Write x2 + 1/x2 as (x +1/x)2 - 2 and substitute in the equation
Then simlify the equation to get the following form:
2(x - 1/x)2 - 9(x - 1/x) -4 =0
Solve this equation for (x - 1/x) assuming it as a single variable
Solve the equation obtained from solving the above equation to get the value of x.
