also, 2, 2, 2 can be distributed in the three boxes in 3 + 3 - 1C3 - 1 = 5C2 ways.
The total number of integral solutions is equal to the number of positive integral solutions is equal to 3 × 5C2 = 30
To find integral solutions where negative integrals are allowed.
Any two of the three can be negative.
The number of ways to associate negative sign in each case 3C2 = 3
Hence, the number of integral solutions 30 + 3 × 30 = 120
