sir, in froth floatation method, what do we mean by saying that collectors enhance the non wettability of mineral particles? Then why do the mineral particles become wet by oil?

Froth flotation is a process for selectively separating hydrophobic  materials from hydrophilic.

Collectors either chemically bond  on a hydrophobic mineral surface, or adsorb onto the surface . They increase the natural hydrophobicity of the surface, increasing the separability of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic particles.
