Reason for the colours of the sun?

The sun doesn't really change color, it's just that from your perspective it changes color. The reason is that as the sun lowers in the horizon the sunlight has to travel through much more fine particulate matter and the related angle disfuses such that the brighter/whiter wavelengths get to bounce more.
