Expert Answer:

(a) 4s^2-4s+1 = (2s-1)^2

so two zeroes and both are at s=1/2

(b)6x^2-3-7x = (3x+1)(2x-3)

so two zeroes at x = -1/3 and x=3/2

(c)4u^2+8u = 4u(u+2)

so zeroes are at u=0 and u=-2
