Dear Student

1/f=  1/u  +  1/v==>  v=fu/(u-f)

take a convention of measuring distances is from the lens, left is -ve amd right is +ve

From the above diagram

f   -ve, and u is -ve and u is smaller than f

==> v=fu/(-u+f)  ==>  V is a positive quantity

So image forms at the right side of teh mirror  so  it is not possible to get it on a screenits an virtual mirror.
