All the women are not working in regular salaried employment because

1. Family members do not allow women to work outside, especially, for long hours like in regular employment. Household work, taking care of children and other responsibilities do not let them to take regular work.
2. In India, women do not know the importance of education because of which most of the women are unqualified and lack skills to work as regular salaried employment.
3. Wage discrimination prevails based on gender Women are not interested to be paid low than the male section; in which case they choose self-employment opportunities.
