if (x-2) is a factor of polynomial f(x) but not of g(x), then it must be a factor of? a)f(x) g(x) , b)g(x)-f(x) , c) f(x)-g(x) , d) {f(x)+g(x)}g(x)

As (x - 2) is a factor of f(x), so we can write f(x) as f(x) = (x - 2)h(x) where h(x) is another factor.
So, (x - 2) becomes a factor of f(x)g(x).
