Expert Answer:

Let OAB be the given sector

Let arc AB = l

Perimeter of sector OAB = 27.2 cm

? OA + OB + arc AB = 27.2

? l = 27.2 – (5.7 + 5.7) = 15.8 cm

Now, Area of sector OAB = 1/2 * lr

Put in the values of l and r to get the answer as 45.03 sq m.
