if p +iq is one of the roots of quadratic equation prove that the other root is p- iq

The roots of a quadratic equation ax2 + bx +c =0 are-b+b2-4ac2a and  -b-b2-4ac2aThese roots are complex if b2-4ac < 0Hence b2-4ac is the imaginary part of the root.Therefore the complex roots are always conjugates of each other.So if one root is p+iq then the other is p-iq , its complex conjugate.">
