if n persons are seated on a round table, what is the probability that two named individuals will be neighbors?please explain the answer in detail.

Let the two Person be combined as 1 , So number of persons to be seated around the table = n - 1
Also the two persons can arrange their places in 2 ways , Therefore ,
Probability = [(n - 2)fact *  2]/[(n-1)fact] =  2/(n-1)
