CBSE Class 12-science Answered
If error occurs in DNA of okazaki fragment then leading strand will be same as lagging strand?
Asked by devenphophaliya06 | 13 Sep, 2020, 12:34: PM
Okazaki fragments are formed on the lagging strand so that DNA can be synthesized in the essential 5' to 3' manner on the lagging strand. In case there are errors in the Okazaki fragments, there are ought to be errors in the leading strand. This might result in similar strands and not complementary strands.
