how does telomere repetitive sequence control the function of eukaryotic chromosomes and why?

Telomerase seal the ends of the chromosomes preventing the chrmosome loss because they have repititive DNA sequences that are stable and resistent to exonuclease digestion which gives a proper stability to the chromosome.
