HI dear,
Vvertical circular motion: At rest, the system has an upward normal force and a downward acting force of gravity. These are the only forces acting on the system even when the body is in circular motion. Now, the force of gravity always has the same direction and magnitude. But, the normal force changes its magnitude and direction.
In the radial direction, there is a net force acting as long as the body is moving along the circle , wher the body moves slowly when climbing and fast when descending, thus showing an accelaration in the tangential direction.
Examples of vertical circular motion can be seen in:
1. Roller coaster.
2. cars on hilly roads
Hope this makes u clear.

Aruna
