Steps to prevent the pollution due to plastic:
- The use of plastic should be minimum.
- One should opt for the items made up of degradable material instead of plastic.
- The biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes should be collected and disposed separately.
- There are attempts to use plastic in making roads, so instead of disposing it anywhere.
- Most of the thermoplastic wastes can be recycled.
- As a responsible citizen, remember the 4R principle. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover.
