Q1) 1/f = 1/v + 1/u

Given, f = 10 cm, u = 15cm; putting these values in above formula, value of 'v' may be calculated.

then,

MAGNIFICATION = v / u = image size / object sixe

using above formula, magnification as well as size of image can be calculated.

Since the object is placed between f and 2f , image will be real, inverted , enlarged.
