Find n[P(P(P(A)))] if A= null set
Asked by edusimple_cbse_teacher | 25 May, 2020, 12:46: PM Expert Answer
If A is a set having n number of elements, then
No. pf elements in the power set of A i.e. P(A) = 2n
Since A is an empty set, so A has 0 no. of elements
Therefore, no. of elements in P(A) is 20 = 1
P(P(A)) has 2P(A) = 2 elements
P(P(P(A))) has 2P(P(A)) = 22 = 4 elements
Hence, n(P(P(P(A)))) = 4.
