expert u didn`t understand my question i asked b4.is burning of natural gas a combination reaction?if it is so then it should form only one product not many.i am not asking whether it is a exothermic reaction i am asking whether it is a combination reaction?

It is a combustion reaction.
CH4 + O2 → CO2 + 2H2O + Heat
We get carbon dioxide and water in a combustion reaction.
In combination two reactants react and produce a product.
2Mg + O2 → 2MgO
