(i)  Clockwise moment of the load about the fulcrum = Anticlockwise moment of the effort about the fulcrum.

or L X BF = E X AF.


(iii) Class II of lever Eg. nutcracker, wheel barrow or Class I of lever only when Effort arm > Load arm.
