Expert Answer
Q(0,1) is equidistant from P(5,-3) and R (x,6)
⇒ QP = QR
⇒52 + (-3-1)2 = x2 + (6-1)2
On squaring
⇒ 25 + 16 = x2 + 25
⇒ x = +4, -4
Compute QR and PR by using the distance formula where coordinated of Q, P and R are known to us.
