Conduction of messages in the form of impulses means the transfer of information or signal in the form of electrical inputs. Neurons are electrically excitable cells in the nervous system that function to process and transmit information. The dendrites of a neuron get excited on receiving an electrical impulse. This impulse then travels along the axon and gets transmitted to the next neuron where the dendrites of the next neuron conduct the impulses forward from one neuron to another.
