Electromagnetic induction by changing relative orientation of coil and magnetic field:
 
When a coil is rotated in a magnetic field, the angle between the coil and magnetic field changes. Therefore, magnetic flx linked with the coil changes and hence emf is induced in the coil. This is the basis of working of an ac generator.
