can the refraction take place from the both, right and left refracting surfaces?can the rays meet or diverge at focus1 and focus2 as well?please, explain

A lens is always bounded by two refracting surface, hence refraction can take place through any of the surface, left or right. Yes, rays can meet or diverge from focus1 or focus2 but that will depend on which surface the light is incident and the type of lens.
We hope this clarifies your doubt.
