cHARGES OF 1uC , 2uC , -3uC are placed at the corners of an equilateral triangle of side 4cm. What is the magnitude of the net force acting on charge -3uC ?

Let electric forces on -3 μC charge due to 1μC and 2 μC charges are F1 and F2 respectively. The angle between the two forces is 60º.
Hence the magnatiude of resultant force FR is given by
Substitute F1 and F2 in the equation for FR and consider 1/(4πε0) = 9×109 , we get FR = 4.465 × 1013 N
