direction of force is mutually perpendicular to the direction of velocity of electron and direction of magnetic field.
 
Let us have magnetic field in +z-axis direction and electron travels in +x-axis direction, then as shown in figure, electron experience
 
force of magnitude q(v ×B ) in +y direction, where q is magnitude of charge on electron, v is magnitude of velocity of electron

and B is flux density of magnetic field
