Expert Answer
Force F experienced by electric dipole is " F = p x E = p E sinθ " , where p is electric dipole moment , E is electri field and θ is the angle between
electric dipole moment and electric field .
If dipole is alighned parallel to electric field , then θ = sinθ = 0 . Hence electric dipole will not experience any force
