Force  F experienced by electric dipole is  "  F = p x E = p E sinθ "  , where p is electric dipole moment , E is electri field and θ is the angle between

electric dipole moment and electric field .

If dipole is alighned parallel to electric field , then θ = sinθ = 0 . Hence electric dipole will not experience any force
