A triangular loop PQR carrying current I is given . The triangle is equilateral with sides equal to l. If a uniform magnetic field B exists parallel to PQ then find the forces acting on the three wires separately ?

Force F on a current carrying conductor placed in magnetic field B is given as, , where l is length of conductor .
Let side of equilateral triangle be l, and current i in the loop is counter clockwise direction as shown in figure
Force on PQ = 0 , because magnetic field is parallel to side PQ
Force on PR = i × l × B × sin120 = ( 0.866 i l b )
where is a unit vector along x-axis direction
Force on QR = i × l × B × (-sin120 ) = ( -0.866 i l b )
