Expert Answer:

Force F on a current carrying conductor placed in magnetic field B is given as,  begin mathsize 14px style F with rightwards arrow on top space equals space i space l with rightwards arrow on top space cross times space B with rightwards arrow on top end style , where l is length of conductor .
Let side of equilateral triangle be l, and current  i  in the loop is counter clockwise direction as shown in figure

Force on PQ = 0 , because magnetic field is parallel to side PQ

Force on PR =  i × l × B × sin120 = ( 0.866 i l b ) begin mathsize 14px style x with hat on top end style
where begin mathsize 14px style x with hat on top end style is a unit vector along x-axis direction
Force on QR = i × l × B × (-sin120 ) = ( -0.866 i l b ) begin mathsize 14px style x with hat on top end style
