b) calculate the energy consumed by 3 such bulbs if they glow continuously for 10 hours for complete month of november.
c)calculate the total cost of the rate at 6.50 per unit.

Power = 100 W
Voltage = 220 V
Current = ( 100 / 220 ) = 0.454 A
Resistance = Voltage / current = 220 /0.454 = 484 Ω

Energy consumed by 3 bulbs for 10 hours = 3 × 100 W × 10 hr = 3000 W-hr = 3 kWhr
Energy consumed by 3 bulbs for 10 hours daily in Novemeber = 3 kWhr × 30 = 90 kWhr
Cost of electrical energy = 90 × Rs.6.50 = Rs.585
