Here, a=25, b=30 and c=7
Using quadratic formula, we have
x equals fraction numerator negative b plus-or-minus square root of b squared minus 4 a c end root over denominator 2 a end fraction equals fraction numerator negative 30 plus-or-minus square root of left parenthesis 30 right parenthesis squared minus 4 left parenthesis 25 right parenthesis left parenthesis 7 right parenthesis end root over denominator 2 cross times 25 end fraction equals fraction numerator negative 30 plus-or-minus square root of 900 minus 700 end root over denominator 50 end fraction equals fraction numerator negative 30 plus-or-minus square root of 200 over denominator 50 end fraction equals fraction numerator negative 30 plus-or-minus 10 square root of 2 over denominator 50 end fraction equals fraction numerator negative 3 plus-or-minus square root of 2 over denominator 5 end fraction
