20 identical  bulbs are connected in series if any one of the bulb is short circuited then what will be effect on brightness of remaing bulb.if battery is real

Let resistance of a bulb is R . Let us assume all bulbs are having identical resistance.
Initially, net resistance in the circuit is resistance of 20 bulbs is (20× R) ohms.
If one bulb is short circuited, then net resistance will become (19× R) ohms.
 
Decrease in resistance makes increase of current drawn from battery. Hence overall brightness will increase
