Expert Answer
Let C.P. of each television = Rs. x
Therefore, C.P. of 10 televisions = 10x
S.P. of first 5 televisions = 5x + 10% of 5x = 5x + (0.5)x = 5.5 x
S.P. of other 5 televisions = 5x - 10% of 5x = 5x - (0.5)x = 0.45 x
 
Therefore, S.P. of 10 televisions = 5.5 x + 0.45 x = 10x
Thus, there of no gain or loss in the whole transaction.
