Why surface tension force=2T∆l? Please explain.

Answer:
Force due to surface tension is define as F= T×l
But when a ring placed in a soap film, the soap film is held tightly at upper as well as lower part of the soap film. So in this the net force must be applied on both level to held the ring tightly.  That's why in this case forec is given as F = T× 2l
