ICSE Class 6 Answered
Which type of lever is lemon squeezer and why
Asked by Ritu | 17 Dec, 2016, 10:26: AM
Expert Answer
A lemon squeezer is a CLASS II lever. In a class II lever, the load is at the centre of effort and fulcrum.
In a lemon squeezer, the lemon (load) is at the middle, the fulcrum of the squeezer is at one end and the push given by hand (effort) is at the other end. So, a lemon squeezer is a class II lever.
