What will be the unit's digit in the square of the following numbers? (i) 123 (ii) 4577 (iii) 4578

We know that if a number has its unit"s place digit as a, then its square will end with the unit digit of the multiplication a x a.
(i) Unit's digit of 123 is 3, whose square is 9.
Hence, the unit's digit in the square of 123 is 9.
(ii) Unit's digit of 4577 is 7, whose square is 49.
Hence, the unit's digit in the square of 4577 is 9.
(iii) Unit's digit of 4578 is 8, whose square is 64.
Hence, the unit's digit in the square of 4578 is 4.
