Expert Answer
Let E1 be the event of selecting first time mango and selecting apple next time .
Let E2 be the event of selecting first time apple and selecting mango next time .
probability of event E1 is
p(E1) = (3/6 ) (3/5) = 3/10
probability of event E2 is
p(E2) = (3/6) (3/5 ) = 3/10
Hence two fruits are selected randomly one at a time , probability p of getting one mango and one apple is
p = p(E1) + p(E2) = (3/10) + (3/10) = 3/5
