?A function f: A->Bis onto iff every element of B is the f-imag e of some element of A.
Here Y is an arbitarily chosen element of the range set R.
So y= f(x)=3-4x
hence corresponding x=(3-y)/4, which is a real number and will belong to the domain set R.
In the following step we are confirming if f(x)=y.for x=(3-y)/4
