If the original periodic sound coincides with the reflected sound from wall,
 
then we have ,  2d/T = speed-of-sound .......................(1)
 
where d is distance between source of sound and wall, T is time period between successive sound pulse
 
if 100 claps per minute means, time period T = (1/100) min  = (60/100) s  = 0.6 s
 
from eqn. (1),   2d/(0.6) = 330   or d = 330 × 0.3 = 99 m
