Resistance of a metal wire of length 2m is 30 ohm at temp. 25°C. If the diameter of wire is 0.6 mm what will be the resistivity of metal at that temp ?

Resistance R = ρ×(L/A)   , where ρ is resistivity, L is legth of wire and A is area of cross section
 
hence resitivity ρ = R×(A/L)  = 30 × ( π×0.3×0.3×10-6)/2  = 4.24×10-6 ohm-m
