There are no evidences of the fact that Rana Sanga supported Babur initially during the First Battle of Panipat. He just remained neutral. Rana Sanga thought that Babur would leave India after defeating Ibrahim Lodhi after which he (Rana Sanga) would easily be able to rule Delhi. However, Babur decided to stay in the country and build an empire. Thus, Rana Sanga fought the Battle of Khanwa against Babur and his forces.
