Please ask one question in one posting. Only question 17 is answered.
Equation for displacement :- x = A sinωt ...................(1)
Equation for velocity :- v = dx/dt = Aω cosωt ...................(2)
where A is amplitude, ω is angular velocity.
we have amplitude A = 4 cm, at mean position velocity = 10 cm/s
at mean position t = 0, then from eqn.(2), we have 10 = 4ω .............(3)
if velocity is 5 cm/s, from eqn.(2) , we have , 5 = 10 cos(ωt) or cos(ωt) = (1/2) or ωt = π/3
distance of the particle is obtained from eqn.(1), x = 4 sin(π/3) = 4×(√3/2) = 2√3 cm
