Q)with reference to my previous asked Q)

HBr & should both act as base to form alkene but if this happens then (C) & (D) both will giive same product but the answer given is (D) why is it so.. please kindly explain

HBr is not a base to form alkene while NaNH2 is a base.
So reaction with HBr does not result into alkene formation.
