magnification m of compound microscope is given by, m = mo me  = ( L/fo ) [ 1 + ( D/fe ) ]

where mo is magnificaion of objective lens that depends on tube length L and focal length fo of objective lens .

where me is magnification produced by eye-piece that depends on D = 25 cm which is near point of comfortable
viewing and fe is the focal length of eye piece.

we are given m = 375,  L = 150 mm, fo = 5 mm

hence [ 1 + ( D/fe ) ] = ( 375 × 5 ) / 150 = 12.5

hence  ( D/ fe ) 11.5  ;   fe = 250 / 11.5 ≈ 22 mm
