Let m1 and m2 are masses of disintegrated nuclei.
 
Let m1 moves with speed v and m2 moves with speed 2v after disintegration.
 
By momenetum conservation ,   m1 v = m2 2v    or   m1 = 2 m2 .............(1)
 
If both nuclei has same density ρ , r1 and r2 are radius of respective nuclei, then eqn.(1) is written as
 
(4/3)π r13 ρ = 2 (4/3) π r23 ρ ......................(2)
 
Hence from eqn.(2), we get , ratio of the sizes of nuclei = 21/3 : 1
